Lachlan is an Osteopath, as well as a personal trainer and uses corrective exercise alongside his Osteopathic techniques to get the best results for his patients. Lachlan’s treatment strategies help him get results with injuries such as rotator cuff issues, knee instability/pain, lower back pain, various tendinopathies as well as ankle sprains and neck pain. Lachlan’s main interests are in lower back complaints and how the combination of Osteopathy and exercise can help get an individual from being in pain all the way to returning to a high level of function and performance.
Lachlan is fully registered with the Osteopathy Board of Australia and with Osteopathy Australia.
About Lachlan
Lachlan graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science – Osteopathy from RMIT and a Diploma of Fitness from Victoria University. He has also completed Level 1 Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Level 1 and Level 2 Myofascial Dry Needling. He has tutored at RMIT in anatomy and is a senior member of the medical staff at soccer club Avondale FC who play in the National Premier League. Whilst completing his studies in 2012/13, Lachlan worked at Coburg VFL assisting with player rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs. Soon after, he moved to PEGS FC to become the head trainer, in this role he managed players injuries and provided rehabilitation strategies so that the players could return to play as soon as possible.On his days off, you can find Lachlan at the gym, playing tennis and basketball with friends as well as going to watch his beloved Richmond Tigers
