Treatment Approach
Tracy uses a variety of Osteopathic treatment techniques such as muscle and joint mobilisation, myofascial releases, manipulation and advanced trigger point dry needling. Tracy treats a range of conditions and people of all ages. She has a particular interest in musculoskeletal issues in children, women’s health, including pregnancy related pelvic and back pain and birth preparation as well as a love for clinical pilates. Tracy has completed further training in Women’s Pelvic Health at the Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institution of Australia – Pelvic Floor Level 1 (Internal) to help assist women, especially after having her own daughter, with a particular interest in pregnancy conditions and postpartum rehabilitation.
Tracy also enjoys treating acute injuries and sporting injuries, having completed her Masters research on the effect of Osteopathic techniques on the hip muscles of Australian Rules Footballers. Her experience as a Clinical Pilates instructor allows her to thoroughly diagnose and develop rehabilitation programs for patients to use both at home and in the studio.
Tracy is fully registered with the Osteopathy Board of Australia and with Osteopathy Australia.
About Tracy
Tracy graduated from Victoria University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). Tracy grew up on the bayside of Melbourne and loves living and working near the beach. Tracy has had experience working at local football clubs during her studies and has completed further courses in Osteopathy for pregnancy, babies and children in Australia and New Zealand, trigger point dry needling and rocktaping. Tracy completed her Clinical Pilates training through DMA and Polestar Pilates.
